It is with sadness that we report that Ken Sowton known on the Hash as "Sir Bollox" has died in Hospital in Phuket on Thursday 5 October 2017.

Our Condolences are with his Wife Nutt "Little Bugger", Children Tina and Linda, Brother Tony "Big Bollox" and all his Family.

Schedule for Sir Bollox's Funeral & Cremation Ceremony

Ken will be moved to Wat Tai which is on Chaofa Nai next to Land and House Estate in Chalong. The ceremonial Hall is at the back well inside through a big open area.
1st prayers @ 20:00 PM Friday 6 Oct
2nd prayers @ 20:00 PM Saturday 7 Oct
3rd prayers @ 20:00 PM Sunday 8 Oct
Final prayers Monday @ 11:30 AM....On On Up to cremation


Following the Cremation of Bollox on Monday there will be a Wake held at Expat Hotel Patong.

Thanks to the Sponsorship and help of Blind Mullet and The Expat Hotel there will be a Free Buffet and Beers will be 60 Baht.

People can go directly from the Cremation but the Event will start fully at around 14.30.

Sir Bollox Memories

Another very sad day for Phuket HHH, too many this year already.
When I joined PH3 in late 1989 Ken "Bollox" Sowton was already an established entertainer in the circle.
I had the privilege of traveling the world with Bollox to promote our 1992 Interhash in Phuket.
We had a lot of fun on the way.
His unique style during his countless circle spots made him known in hashes far and wide.
There will never be another Hash Music with as much diversity as Bollox.
He will be remembered through his songs by hashers worldwide.
It was a privilege to know him.
My condolences to Nutt, Tina, Linda, Tony & Family.
I am sure HHH Heaven will be singing late into the night.

On-On & RIP Ken, you will be missed.

It is now the 9th of Oct here in Canada and I just found out about Sir Bollox…totally unbelievable…I just had an email from him a couple of weeks ago and there was no indication that anything was wrong.
My heart and condolences go out for him and his family…he was more than a GREAT GUY, he was a GREAT, GREAT, GUY and I know I will miss him at the Hash along with all the others including Hashers beyond out Phuket group.
I will be back on 21 Nov and am really sorry I wasn’t there for the service.
